8 Easiest Way to Lose Belly Fat at Home

8 Easiest Way to Lose Belly Fat at Home

What season would those belly fat-buster programs rake in the most money? You guessed it Summer. While some people are getting ready to flaunt their sculpted abs and shopping for beach outfits, most people are just desperate to know the fastest way to lose belly fat. But is there really such a thing? Getting rid of inches in your stomach and losing belly fat are really some of the most difficult tasks ever.

However, there are some fast and effective ways to lose belly fat. Remember, there are no magic pills or secret exercise that will magically make those extra flab disappear. Like everything else in the world, it takes work. If you put in effort consistently, you will see results in no time.

Best and Easiest Ways to Lose Belly Fat at Home

There are much more simple, less invasive, measures of losing belly fat at home.

1.Never Skip Breakfast

If you don’t eat after many hours of sleeping your body goes into “˜starvation mode’. This is bad news for shedding belly fat as it slows your metabolism down in an effort to save energy and burn less calories. In fact a lot of dietitians advice that the best breakfast is a heavy one.

2. Start Jogging

Jogging is a great way to tone up the body and lose some extra fat as well, especially in the belly area. When done correctly, jogging gets the heart rate elevated enough and for a long enough period of time that it begins to burn fat all over the body. Many people who take up jogging find that they can boost their own metabolism and build a stronger, healthier heart at the same time.

3. Change Your Snacking Habits

Losing belly fat is not about depriving yourself. It is about changing things so that you are in a healthier state of mind and body. Snacking is one thing that doesn’t have to stop but must change. If you currently eat lots of chips and candy at work, take some fruit and crackers instead. It satisfies the same sugar and salt cravings but at a fraction of the calories and fat. Vegetables and nuts are also great snacks. Carry healthy snacks with you all the time to avoid the urge to hit the vending machine when that post-lunch hunger pang strikes.

4. Get a Hobby

If you find yourself sitting around a lot, consider an extracurricular activity that you could take up as a way to get more active. Biking, hiking, volunteering – anything that gets the body moving and up out of that chair can help you to burn that belly flab. Combined with other common-sense lifestyle changes such as incorporating diet and exercise, being more active is an important part of building a healthier body.

5. Drink More Water

The average person doesn’t drink enough water. Soda and juice may actually contribute to the belly fat problem, while water helps the body to shed weight naturally. It can also help keep the body hydrated for exercise and take up space in the stomach, helping you to feel fuller and less likely to snack.

6. Eat Slowly

Get into the habit of taking smaller bites and chewing them slowly. By doing this you will avoid overeating and bloating.

7. Treat Yourself

While cakes and cookies are not part of a healthy belly fat-free diet, consider treating yourself once a week. This can eliminate the splurging that so many dieters succumb to as they attempt to quit their favorite foods cold turkey. Every Friday, treat yourself to a nice drink or slice of cake as a reward for being so diligent in your attempts to lose belly fat.

8. Avoiding Junk Foods

This may be hard for you, as many of you may be avid lovers of junk food. However, knowing that simply avoiding it is one of the fastest way to lose belly fat could definitely make this task so much easier. We know how difficult this this can be. But you need to accept that eating junk food is one of the reasons – probably THE primary reason – that you have developed belly fat. Ever wonder why you just can’t help but to eat more even if your mind is telling you to stop? That’s because junk food increases your appetite level and causes you to eat more. And, the more junk food you eat, the bigger your belly would actually get. It’s an endless negative cycle, one that you definitely want to avoid.

The Journey To Success In Your Home Based Business

The Journey To Success In Your Home Based Business

Work at Home Success -- How do you measure the success in your life? As a home-based working mom it's so different than the outside corporate world. I know for me, one day it can be a call from Borders that they are accepting one of my books, where another day it can be that I finally got my 8-year-old to go on a field trip at school. The last two she had missed being too scared to attend and instead spent the day home, sick. Both days, I consider huge successes! Both days, I felt a real winner!

Home based success can mean the little things such as a day we get all our work done while attending a sick child, or being one of the only parents able to attend a school function that your daughter so eagerly anticipated. That's what we are trying to achieve in our home-based business, the best of both worlds. And having worked at home since 1985 I can truly say, it can be done.

So how can you achieve this success for your business and family? How can you make more good days than bad? Here are some tips:

Start Early: I find that by getting up an hour or so before everyone else, I can accomplish so much more. That allows me the extra 10 minutes of devotional time, a few minutes to enjoy my coffee alone, and then time to dig into my work. I usually save my peak work for this time as this is truly when I'm at my best.

Regroup and Rebalance: So often home-based moms feel overwhelmed and unable to accomplish anything because of this. Try breaking it all down. Take a day or two and write down your typical day. What can you change to make it better, to make it work? Often when it's down in writing, it's clearer to see where changes can be made. Try to lump together tasks and delegate any tasks you can. And above all else-avoid Guilt.

Eliminate time-robbers! We still have to cook dinner, (I tried, it didn't work!) but I don't have to talk to my friend, who doesn't work, for 45 minutes during my workday. Say No!

Also, with my kids I found some of the work I actually could take outside or in another room. There's no rule that says I have to work at my desk. Perhaps you can create different workstations around the home. Be creative.

Shortcuts To Success: What can you do to make your business run smoother? Constantly be thinking of ways to improve upon your business. Organization is naturally a big one. The more organized you are, the better you'll be at many things.

Another shortcut for me was to create different books of materials that I frequently used so I didn't have to reinvent the wheel each time and it was right in front of me. Thus, I created different 3-ring binder books of marketing letters, press releases, etc. Anything that I frequently use and would save me time, I'll implement. Think about things that you can do for your business. Things that you use often, that you could print out and possibly make a collection of, and then look to as a resource. Or what other times savings tip could you think of that would help your business?

Another thing I do is buy paper that has 3 ring holes already in it. When I print out a client's e-mail, or client's article, I'll immediately put it into their binder categorized by topic. I'm now able to find things more and also can see clearly all I've done with the clients. Focus on Success: Continue to see yourself as a success and focus on your goals. Success is within your reach when you continually focus on your goals, both for your business and your family.

Top 10 Ideas For Creating Gorgeous Walls: Interior Design Art

Top 10 Ideas For Creating Gorgeous Walls: Interior Design Art

This should give you some good ideas and advice about brightening up your walls with unique wall decor. We all live with many walls in our homes and it is nice to fill some of the space with art work, wall quotes, photography or images that make us smile. Wall decor can show your personal style and taste and is something people notice when they enter your home.

At one point or another, everyone faces the dreaded blank walls of a new home, apartment or condo. Once all the furniture is moved in, the walls are still staring at you in their empty, stark way.

Here you’ll find a nice variety of ideas and hopefully something that you’ll want to implement in your own place.

1. Removable Wall Decals

While you’re free to do what you want in your own home, that’s not usually the case in a rental. Removable wall art will add visual interest to your space without sucking away your damage deposit. And when you move, simply remove them and taken them with you. No harm, no foul.

2. Decorative Plates

If you love to collect plates, the walls are a natural place to display them and can really create a lovely setting for you and your guests to enjoy. The new laser levels will help you align them quickly and easily. Just remember to get the appropriate wall hangers to protect your investment.

3. Photo Groupings

A standard trick is to hang photos on the wall. This is especially easy with the new ink jet printers that can turn out photos quickly and easily. Again, use a laser level to arrange them in nice groupings.

4. Paintings

Paintings are a terrific addition to your walls as well. Just be sure they match your tastes or the color scheme so they don’t create a visual conflict in the room.

5. Shelving

There are many shelving solutions that allow you to display your collections or knick-knacks. Many are standalone so you don’t even have to worry about anchoring them to the wall.

6. Faux painting

If you can paint, texturing the walls or faux painting is one of the easiest and least expensive ways to dress up the walls, particularly if you haven’t settled on art for your new home. Most home decor homes have tutorials on faux painting as well as all the tools you needs.

7. Collectibles

If you collect old posters, antiques, knick-knacks or anything of interest, show off your hobby by displaying these on your walls. If you’re a musician, consider hanging your instruments on a wall so they become art when they’re not being played.

8. Tapestries

A lovely addition to your home, tapestries are finely woven renditions of traditional artwork. Available in hundreds of styles, they quickly dress up a wall with color and texture.

9. Wallpaper Murals

If your home begs for a better view, consider a wallpaper mural. These are easy to apply and you can get ones that are doors, windows, balconies or lovely landscapes.

10. Candles

Candles are always popular. You can get lovely lanterns to hang on the wall, or wall art that holds a number of candles, turning an ordinary wall into a an extraordinary romantic setting. It also comes in real handy if the power goes out.

Decor Your Home With Simple Advice: Anyone Can Use

Decor Your Home With Simple Advice: Anyone Can Use

Interior decorating for quite some time has been a concept or task left to the interior decorator. But because people nowadays are becoming more and more aware and involved in the interior decorating aspects of their homes, there are many homeowners that are forced into adopting their own interior decorating techniques and processes.

Home or interior decorating, as wrongly perceived by people ages ago, need not be expensive and need not requiring degrees and diplomas in the discipline. Overall, the idea behind interior decorating is going for the basic or going for the simple. Being interiorly designed and comfortable, a home does not need to be really equipped with the most expensive devices and equipment.

    * Begin with the architectural style, or the natural surroundings of your home and go with the flow. Cottages look great decorated in a more casual country decor with floral, checks, linen, cotton and cheery colors. Victorian homes are best decorated in a more formal atmosphere, with lots of lace, antiques, ferns, flowered wallpaper and pastel colors. Cape Cod homes look great with nautical themes, the colors found on the seaside and definitely white trim. Homes in the woods should have lots of wood, plants, and natural materials and fabrics that bring the outdoors inside, painted with more earthy colors. City lofts would look great decorated with more modern materials such as glass and chrome with perhaps a black and white theme. Just don’t fight against your home’s architectural style. Flow with your home’s design and surroundings and you’ll be well on your way to creating a natural, well balanced, inviting atmosphere throughout.
    * If your not sure where to begin with your homes color scheme, get inspiration from a rug, a pillow, a painting, a towel, a tapestry or any one of your favorite things and look at the colors in it. If you like the way the colors look together in the object, then you will be pleased with the way the colors look together throughout your home. Choose perhaps three to five colors to spread throughout your rooms. Make sure that each room has at least one of the three to five colors you have chosen in it. This will give your home a comfortable, harmonious, and balanced appearance. After you have chosen your colors make sure to contrast the wall and trim paint. If your trim is dark, keep the walls light. If your trim is light keep the trim darker. My preference is for the walls to be darker than the trim, unless the trim is a dark natural high quality wood. If your trim is outdated low quality wood, or in poor shape, it would be best to paint it. This will give your home a fresh new, updated look. Be sure to use a high quality, gloss or semi-gloss paint to make cleaning your trim a breeze.
    * For furniture keep the big tickets items such as couches, love seats, or recliners neutral and accessorize with color. As far as furniture goes, don’t think that all the furniture should be shoved against a wall. Try to create groups of furniture into sitting areas, conversation areas, or reading areas. If you have a large room try to create at least two groups of furniture in the room. Two chairs in front of a large window with an end table in between is a classic seating arrangement. Keep the chairs about 18? away from the window in order for the drapes to hang easily and to be able to walk behind the chairs to open and close the windows. Instead of putting your sofa against a wall, try putting it more in the center of a room, or at an angle if your room is odd shaped. By bringing sofas, coffee tables, and chairs closer to each other it creates a more intimate area, that is easier for conversation, and much more inviting then having the furniture spread out. Try putting just one or two chairs separate from the main grouping for quiet reading or intimate conversations.
    * When accessorizing with nick-knacks, and collections, there are a few main rules. First, always use odd numbers. One, three, five, seven, etc. Place one large piece alone on perhaps a small side table, or three pieces on a coffee table, or five pieces on a shelf. Try to keep the proportions even, and the heights different. For example; put a tall, medium, and short object together. You can stack books, wooden boxes, or tin boxes to create height with objects. Second, it is best to keep collections together and not spread out in your home. If you have a collection of brass candle holders put them together. If you have a small art collection try hanging them on one wall. Third, it looks great if like-kind materials, and colors are put together. Metal looks good with other metal, glass with glass, ceramic with ceramic, and so forth. Blue looks good with blue, yellow with yellow, white with white, especially in glassware. Look around your house an see what kind of metal things you have and put them together. See how many blue things you have and put them together. You don’t have to do this with every surface, but a few collections, like-kind material, or colors together in a few places creates focal points and draws the eye around the room.

Interior designing a house need not be really tedious. Just follow your instinct and remember, functions come ahead of beauty. Good luck!
