Acne Treatment with Laser: Pimples Solutions

Acne Treatment with Laser: Pimples Solutions

A variety of methods involving light can be used to improve acne. A popular approach is to combine an infrared laser with skin cooling to target oil gland production, a key element in acne formation. A second approach involves a chemical that makes the oil gland and follicle sensitive to light plus the application of a bright light such as a laser, Intense Pulsed Light, or lamp. A recently described method uses a suction apparatus mated to an Intense Pulsed Light source to remove plugged up follicles before applying laser energy.

Laser acne treatment is a proven, effective way of dealing with teenage and adult acne. Our powerful but gentle laser will reduce the unsightly dark-red marks left by large ugly spots and reduce the number and frequency of spots on face, back, neck and shoulders. There are acne treatment method with laser read it.

What is Acne?

Acne usually begins to appear around the time a person enters into puberty. Often, acne improves on its own after puberty. But, for many individuals, it continues to persist into middle age. The lesions of acne are created when the oil glands, called sebaceous glands, open and become blocked. As a result, the oil becomes trapped and builds up in the gland, which results in inflammation. The resulting swelling and inflammation can become extremely intense and cause the oil gland, as well as its associated hair follicle, to rupture. This leads to additional inflammation of the area.

Acne Treatment Options:

Acne treatment options have vastly improved over the past twenty years. There are a number of over-the-counter medications available, including benzene peroxide and salicylic acid preparations. Most prescriptions for acne include a combination of treatments. These treatments do, however, often have side effects such as redness and irritation. Therefore, it is important to discuss different options with your doctor in order to find the one that is best for you.

Severe acne often does not respond well to topical treatments. Therefore, tetracycline antibiotics may necessary to help gain control of the problem. Long-term antibiotic use, however, is not recommended because it can lead to bacterial resistance. For women, use of oral contraceptives, such as the pill, can help improve acne problems. For adult women, hormonal therapy can also bring relief.

There are Two Types of Laser:

* Ablative
* Non-ablative

Ablative Laser:

An ablative laser removes the top layer of skin as described above. The most popular type of laser used for this is the YAG laser which results in a controlled ‘burning’ of the epidermis. This softens and reduces acne scars.

Non-Ablative Laser:

A non-ablative laser is quicker than the ablative version and concentrates on the dermis only. This means no damage to the top layer of skin (epidermis). It tightens up the skin and triggers new collagen growth and is often used in cases of mild acne scars.

How does Laser Acne Treatment Work?

Acne is a disorder of the skin follicles which gives an excess of oil in the skin and this often becomes infected with a bacteria called P.Acnes. Your body responds by trying to remove the infection and the bacteria. The result is lots of inflammation in the follicle and unfortunately, a big, red ugly spot.

At Freedomhealth we have developed a sophisticated approach to troublesome acne using our specialised Sciton laser.

Using the Broad Band Light platform on the Sciton Laser, Lee Garrett will heal those deep dark coloured marks that the bigger spots leave. The BBL device gently and painlessly heats the top layers of the skin over and around the acne damage. This has the effect of killing off the P.Acnes bacteria, reduces the redness and allows collagen to remodel and calm the over-active sebaceous glands, reducing the oil production.

Laser Treatment for Acne:

Laser therapy for acne often involves the use of the pulsed-dye laser. This type of laser has been proven to significantly reduce the amount of acne on a person’s skin after just one treatment. There are also no serious side effects associated with pulsed-dye laser treatment. Plus, the cost of the laser treatment is very affordable.

An infrared laser can also be used to treat acne. These lasers have been shown to decrease the number of acne lesions by 83% after completing three treatments. This type of laser, however, is associated with redness, temporary pain, and swelling following the treatment. In addition, patients with darker skin sometimes experience hyperpigmentation, which is a darkening of the skin.

Those with problematic acne can find a solution with laser cosmetic surgery. With no side effects and proven effectiveness, it provides the perfect answer for imperfect skin. In addition, those who have already experienced scarring can have their skin smoothed out with laser treatment, bringing back the smooth, shining skin you have been yearning for.

Nissan Ellure Concept

As expected, Nissan revealed today at the 2010 LA Auto Show the Ellure Concept, a concept which is not intended as a preview of any upcoming production model, but confirms the firm’s intention to be a strong player in the sedan segment. In our opinion, the new Ellure Concept previews the next-generation Nissan Maxima, and looking at the design we might say that the new car will be a major hit in its segment. The design of the car is completed by the 21-inch 5-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels wrapped in low-rolling resistance Michelin tires. Aerodynamics became a critical element of design, and the Ellure explores the ways to reduce or eliminate body openings that can cause drag, such as transparent coverings on the wheels and grilles, without impacting the beauty of the vehicle.

According to Nissan, the Ellure grill was inspired by “Kamishino” Samurai formal coat. The rear end of the car is inspired by the “Torii” Shinto shrine gate, while the sides are dominated by large 90-degree opening doors with rear-hinged rear doors. Furthermore, the concept comes with a “Geode” White tri-coat mica paint that features pearlescent/gold flake with a blue aspect that varies in appearance by tone and temperature of light. Inside, the car features a tri-color scheme of “Molten Ice,” “Molten Steel” and “Molten Gray.”

Under the hood of the Ellure Concept, we find a supercharged 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder with Intelligent Dual Clutch Control (one motor/two clutch design with lithium-ion battery) but also a 25 kW electric motor, matched with an Xtronic CVT and front-wheel drive. Moreover, the concept offers an independent suspension, regenerative braking, and advanced drive-by-wire electric/hydraulic steering. Ellure also wears a “PURE DRIVE” badge, indicating it would be part of Nissan’s range of low CO2/low fuel consumption internal combustion engine or hybrid vehicles.

Make Your Wedding Day Friendly Unique And Special With Flowers

Make Your Wedding Day Friendly Unique And Special With Flowers

Are you wondering what you can do to make your wedding day an environmentally friendly one? Many brides don’t think about the impact on the environment as they are planning the wedding. While it may seem like one more thing to stress over, there are actually many easy things you can do to make sure your wedding is a bit greener. Between choosing a Melbourne Celebrant and choosing the right flowers, these easy tips make it simple for you to go green on the big day.

It’s one of the great paradoxes that wedding flowers – something so natural and beautiful – can actually be bad for the environment. Read more to learn how to have a beautiful wedding and be environmentally friendly, as well.

Flower Power

You would assume that anyone having an”eco-friendly” wedding or a green wedding would want lots and lots of flowers, but one of the little-discussed facts we’ve learned is that cut flowers can actually be bad for the environment. Of course, you don’t want to give up on your dream of beautiful wedding flowers, and if you keep a few basics in mind, you won’t have to do so!

Go Local

Going local is almost always the easiest way to be environmentally friendly. Many flowers bought in larger stores are grown in green houses in South America, Africa and Asia. This is bad, not only because of the transportation involved in getting the flowers from Tanzania to your bouquet, but also because these greenhouses may use pesticides and other chemicals not used in the United States. Your local florist can provide you with environmentally friendly choices and can also serve as a great source of information on flowers and decorating options.

Stay In Season

Even if you use a small, local florist, asking for out-of-season flowers is going to cost you some environmental points. Before getting your heart set on certain bouquets or arrangements, ask your florist which flowers will be in season in your area around the time of the wedding. If you don’t mind giving up a little control, consider letting the florist design the centerpieces (or even the bouquets) with whatever is fresh right before the wedding. You may even want to discuss this with your florist before choosing your wedding colors, as certain colors might be hard to accommodate in certain seasons.

Reduce For The Ceremony

Many couples don’t bother to consider their actual wedding flower needs, they simply go with what they’ve read is recommended. Depending on where you’re holding your wedding, you may not need arrangements for the ceremony at all. If you’re getting married outside, you can let nature take over for the florist. If you’re getting married in a church or other house of worship, consider asking what flowers have already been ordered for the weekend. Or, ask if you can donate your flowers to the church or temple so that they can be reused (always an environmentally friendly choice).  A recent trend that we’ve fallen in love with is the brooch bouquet. Made from repurposed jewelry instead of flowers, a brooch bouquet becomes an heirloom.

Reduce For The Reception

One of the easiest ways to reduce both the costs and the environmental damage of flowers is to have your guests sit at tables larger than the typical “eight-round.” Having tables that sit 10 or 12 guests reduces the number of tables you need, and thus the number of centerpieces you need. You may also want to consider environmentally friendly options, such as planted flowers like orchids, non flowering plants or even fresh fruit. Highly decorative table numbers can stand on their own without flowers. Whatever you choose as centerpieces, don’t forget to give them a longer life by giving them to your guests, or donating them to a local hospital or other facility.
