space-efficient vehicle

the compact three-seater named the space-efficient vehicle is the creation of dutch designer ralph panhuysen. the concept aims to create a small lightweight vehicle much like many micro cars created right after the second world war. the design uses three wheels and seats  hree in a v-formation. the exterior would be made from environmentally minded recyclable flax-fiber composite, but the engine isn’t electric of hybrid as one would expect. instead, panhuysen chose to equip the car with a two cylinder 500cc gas engine at, that would be very fficient thanks to the car’s lightweight and aerodynamic design. the designer estimates the design would average around 80 mpg.
