Olympic figure skating champion Kim Yu-na of South Korea was named the Sportswoman of the Year by the Women's Sports Foundation, a U.S. organization. Kim, who won the women's figure skating gold medal at the Vancouver Olympics, was the first Asian athlete and the third figure skater to won the award.
