ZTE Light Android Tablet - New 7 Inch Android

ZTE is the latest manufacturer to jump on the tablet bandwagon as manufacturers compete to offer the best budget Android-based device. The ZTE Light will run Android 2.1 and, like the Dell Streak, is a hybrid device with the ability to support voice calling on dual-band UMTS 2100MHZ/900MHZ.

The device comes with a 7in TFT touch screen and supports 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Other key features include 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM, a 3-megapixel camera, music and video player with MP4 support, and an external SD Slot with up to 32GB of external memory. ZTE claims 10 hours of battery time.

Chinese gadget manufacturer ZTE today rolled out their first Android 2.1-based tablet in the form of the ZTE Light. This gadget comes jam packed with a 7-inch LCD display with a 800×480 resolution, 3G + WiFi, a GPS, a digital camera, an FM radio, Bluetooth, a compass and a G-Sensor. Its battery provides enough juice for up to 5-hour of operation time. Sadly, there is no info on pricing at this moment.
