2012 Range Rover Evoque 5-Door

Land Rover unveiled today the five-door version of the 2012 Range Rover Evoque at the 2010 LA Auto Show. The new car has the same design as the coupe model. However, Land Rover says the new car is 30 mm taller than the coupe and the rear passengers get over 50 mm more shoulder room. A full-sized glass panoramic roof enriches the sensation of space. Land Rover adds that the 2012 Range Rover Evoque 5-Door will come with a starting price of GBP30,000 (EUR35,000 or $48,000). The engines are the same found on the coupe, meaning we will find a 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine with 150PS or 190PS derivatives.

The front-wheel drive version is driven by the 2.2 liter engine and delivers 150 PS that achieves sub 135g/km CO2. The most powerful version will be outfitted the 2.0-liter Si4 petrol engine, delivering 240 PS and this model can go from 0 to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds. For the Range Rover, Land Rover offers contrasting roof and spoiler color at no additional cost. The interiors of the new Range Rover feature a darker environment with splashes of bright contrast color.

The 2012 Range Rover Evoque five-door will come in three trim levels: Prestige, Pure and Dynamic. The Prestige level features 19-inch wheels and sparkling metallic doors and an interior almost entirely leather-wrapped. In the Prestige, we find duo-tone color schemes made beautiful by premium leather, twin-needle stitching and real wood and metal finishes. The Pure trim level boasts a clean interior in neutral colors meant to highlight the simple forms of the cabin architecture. This level features a real-metal brushed aluminum trim and new soft-touch wrapped materials. The Dynamic trim level features 20-inch wheels and unique sills, bumpers, tailpipes and grille.
